On September 9th, EMI released the remastered version of all The Beatles albums.

At first I was hesitant about this: I've picked up remastered CDs from 'The Who' before, and could tell absolutely no difference.

These remastered versions were a completely different story. Listening to the songs, I felt like it was the first time I heard them... everything from subtle sound effects to guitar I've never heard came out with amazing clarity!

In stereo, some of these albums sound so different, you'd think it was a remix. I think the earlier stuff does not represent this as much as the later Beatles work like Sgt. Peppers.

Overall, I think this was totally worth it... it took them a long time, and it paid off.
