Read me! Tips for album reviews!
Want to write a review? Great! Each review helps build this site. To keep the reviews consistent please use the following format when writing reviews:
General Format
- For threads, stick with the format: Band - Album (YEAR) when creating a thread. For example Pink Floyd - The Wall (1979)
- For track lists, nn - (title) works fine. For example: 01 - Hey You
- Try to include album art, use images.google.com if you need to grab one. Try not to direct link to images.
- Use BBCodes, these help the format of the message. Try to keep is readable!
The Review Itself
- Actually write a review! "'It kicks ass!!!!" is NOT a review. Band history, information and so on always helps. Did a key member leave? Did the band completely change there style? Things like this should be included.
- Try to use proper punctuation, grammar and language. Keep it readable.
Following these simple tips will keep things readable, and makes life easier for everyone!
